Network Operations Center Engineer

We are partnering with a fortune 200 company specializing in delivering Global End-to-End Data Center Solutions and Services for Global Enterprise Organizations, Hyperscalers, and Multi-Tenant Data Centers to hire “Network Operations Center Engineer” based in Singapore 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for tier-1 network monitoring and operations of IDC network, conducting 7*24*365 shift based rotation.
• Responsible for promptly responding to, following up on, and driving the resolution of various network alarms and faults. Escalate to tier-2 engineer if needed.
• Responsible for following up and finishing network breakfixes like switch replacement, link repairing and dark fiber restoration. Work with IDC technicians to conduct physical work and provide proper instruction remotely.
• Responsible for conducting some simple network maintenance.
• Summarise daily monitoring and operations work into documents and regularly share within the team.

Qualifications:

• 1~3 years of experience in data center network monitoring and operations.
• Have basic understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP etc.
• Responsible, meticulous, have good communication skills.
• Capability of network troubleshooting and experience with Linux is preferred.
• Certificate like CCNA/JNCIA is preferred.
• English is a must, Mandarin is a plus.
