Our client, a leading provider of professional corporate solutions with a strong presence across Asia, is committed to excellence and is looking for a driven Assistant Manager, Accounting and Payroll to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing queries, managing relationships, and preparing service agreements.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise, guide, and mentor junior and senior accountants to enhance their skills and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Accounting & Financial Reporting: Oversee full set of accounts, including consolidation, equity method application, and preparation of statutory financial statements in compliance with SFRS/IFRS.
- Custom Reporting & Compliance: Review and prepare custom financial reports tailored to client requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Audit Coordination: Collaborate with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes and maintain financial compliance.
- Cash Management & Payments: Supervise payment processing, cash flow management, and review financial transactions for accuracy and efficiency.
- GST Compliance: Oversee GST preparation, review, and timely filing to ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations.
- Payroll Services: Manage payroll processing, CPF disbursements, overtime calculations, and year-end IR8A submissions for multiple clients.
- Process Optimization & Performance Monitoring: Analyze financial variances, monitor KPIs, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ad Hoc Financial & Managerial Assignments: Support management with various financial tasks, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy with ACCA, CA, CPA qualifications are advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Prior experience in professional accounting firms is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Singapore accounting, GST regulations, and payroll requirements. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and manage multiple client portfolios.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
