JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, a prominent listed global organization and a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking an analytically skilled professional to join their dynamic team as a Group Consolidation Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and submission of half-year and full-year financial announcements in compliance with SGX requirements.
- Coordinate the preparation of financial disclosures for the Annual Report, collaborating with overseas subsidiaries to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly management reports to the board, offering key financial insights.
- Manage the group consolidation and financial reporting functions, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Review and approve consolidated journal entries, ensuring accuracy and alignment with group policies.
- Monitor and reconcile inter-company transactions and profit eliminations to ensure accurate group-level reporting.
- Conduct financial analysis of consolidated results to support quarterly results announcements and the preparation of the Annual Report.
- Review and analyze monthly financial data from subsidiaries, including key balance sheet items, to identify trends and ensure compliance with group standards.
- Engage and collaborate with external auditors on audit-related matters and resolve complex accounting issues.
- Drive communication across the organization to address changes in reporting standards and ensure the implementation of updated group accounting policies.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with professional certification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, ideally in listed companies or Big 4 audit firms, with expertise in group consolidation and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in SFRS (I), SGX Listing Manual, and Companies Act compliance.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and people management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, familiarity with SAP or Oracle consolidation software, and a willingness to support system migration and process improvement initiatives.
