Our client is a leading government-linked organisation in Singapore. Operating within an ecosystem of public and government-linked organsiations they are responsible for ensuring the nation’s infrastructure development projects are efficiently executed on time and within budget. In line with continued growth aspiration they are currently recruiting for a Director, Infrastructure Project Management.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Project Management: Part of the senior management team within the organisation’s infrastructure development division, oversee portfolio of projects (at differing stages of completion) within stipulated timeframe and allocated budget.
- People Management: Establish strong team structure and a progressive framework leveraging on diverse competencies and specialized expertise. Mentorship and guidance to team striving for operational efficiency, lean practices, and achievement of key objectives.
- Policy & Governance: Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and organisational policy. Work collaboratively with Public Authorities relating to project development and execution e.g. land allocation, traffic studies.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Process Improvement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to monitor project development and milestones, and enhance administrative, operational, and system efficiency to support departmental objectives.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive project risk management strategy covering procurement, budgeting, timelines, quality, and safety. Effectively communicate and observe risk management roles, principles, and processes within the team.
Key Requirements
- Recognised Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Building / Construction / Project Management / Real Estate.
- Comes with more than 20 years of work experience in Infrastructure Project .Management, including managing mega projects / national infrastructure development
- Strong strategic planning, stakeholder management, communication, and people management skills.
- Led large multi-disciplinary team (>30 headcount) with varying competency, experience and age profile.
- Familiarity with governmental procurement processes and governance requirements.
