In line with continued growth aspiration both here as well as the region, they are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner Lead for one of their prominent school.

Roles & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Financial Management and Oversight: Oversee daily financial operations, including budget control, revenue collection, financial reporting, annual budgeting and forecasting. Offer financial insights to support strategic decision-making in meetings, and financial reports to senior management.
• Grant and Fund Management: Guide business in grant lifecycle, ensuring financial stability and supporting research efforts. Foster collaborative relationship to optimise fund utilisation and ensure compliance. Ensure smooth audit process.
• Governance, Controls and Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax filing requirements and conduct timely Risk Control Matrix testing. Oversee the annual fixed assets verification process.
• Process Improvement: Optimise operational efficiency by streamlining financial processes and creating clear guidelines.

Key Requirements

• Accounting Degree/ACCA or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience.
• Prior experience in grant management – grant budgets, regulations of funding agencies and financial compliance requirements will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with accounting standards in Singapore.
• Good communication, stakeholder and people management skills.
• Proficiency in using the SAP accounting system and MS Office.
