About the role
Our client is an iconic name in the industrial sector, and they are looking for a Group Finance Manager to be part of a dynamic team and will be directly reporting to the Group Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversees the consolidation of group finances and management reporting functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Analyzes various consolidated financial factors for management reporting purposes.
- Supervises Group tax compliance, planning, and accounting activities.
- Assesses the implications of new or revised accounting standards for the Group.
- Leads the establishment, review, and revision of group accounting policies and procedures to align with evolving business requirements and relevant financial reporting standards.
- Provides guidance and support to overseas teams to ensure timely submission of monthly accounts.
- Ensures alignment of accounting policies for all entities, including overseas subsidiaries, with Group policies.
- Coordinates reporting needs with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Assists the team in the transition and implementation of new system-related projects.
- Undertakes any additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
The ideal candidate needs to adept to leading group financial functions, with a keen eye for accuracy and regulatory compliance. Strong analytical skills, coupled with effective communication and team management abilities, are essential for success in this dynamic environment.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or equivalent professional certification required.
- At least 15 years of working experience including Big 4 audit experience preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge in the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
- Experience with SGX or listed companies will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in SAP or Oracle software.
