Head of Commercial (Global FMCG)

Our client is an Asian-headquartered brand in the B2C FMCG sector that has been delivering exceptional product innovations and consumer experiences. A brand with a distinct cultural heritage and charting exciting growth in the personal and beauty care space, they are now looking to hire a Head of Commercial / Commercial Director to lead their next wave of transformation and growth in the region.

Responsibilities:

Reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer, you will assume a strategic mandate to drive the overall commercial growth strategy across all key channels including retail, wholesale trading, and distribution.

As the key leader and spokesperson of their commercial journey, you will bring a strong track record in commercial strategy, business development, and team leadership to enhance the Group’s market position and achieve sustainable growth. Working across key functional leaders across their distinct affiliates businesses, you will lead the implementation of new business development plans to drive market share while identifying market expansion initiatives to drive new whitespace opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• At least 12 years of of experience in commercial management, business development, or sales leadership, with a proven track record of driving growth in retail, wholesale trading, and distribution, ideally within FMCG or Consumer Retail brands.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities and excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends, with proven international exposure and track record.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales and business development strategies
