The Client
Our client is an award-winning higher education organisation in Singapore. Due to ongoing growth plan as part of a business transformation roadmap, they are currently looking to recruit a Lead, Applications Architect.
The Role
This pivotal role involves overseeing applications architecture, develop roadmaps, and consult with software engineering teams on technical solutions and emerging technologies. Responsibilities include aligning architectural requirements with enterprise strategy, creating POCs for new strategies, and managing technical escalations for custom and mobile development issues. You will also oversee the IT architecture governance process and provide architectural design advisory to projects.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate holds Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and a minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on technical experience in applications architecture, engineering, and technology management. Technical expertise in programming languages and tools such as .NET or Java, React/Angular, mobile development, CI/CD stacks, SQL, RESTful APIs, and Azure is required.
