The Client

Our client is an award-winning higher education organisation in Singapore. Due to ongoing growth plan as part of a business transformation roadmap, they are currently looking to recruit a Lead, IT Infrastructure and Solutions Architect (Education).

The Role

You will create infrastructure blueprints and implementation roadmaps, lead technical projects, and ensure that infrastructure changes meet the company’s evolving needs. Collaboration is essential, as you’ll work with different teams and stakeholders to understand their IT challenges and deliver customized solutions, ranging from basic hardware setups to advanced virtualization and hybrid platforms. Additionally, you’ll design and implement hybrid cloud infrastructure, deploy security and operational tools, and perform capacity planning to improve system performance.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with at least 8 years of experience as an infrastructure architect or technical lead specializing in designing and implementing infrastructure solutions. Strong technical expertise in one or more of the following areas is required: Linux and/or Windows systems administration, security and automation tools for systems and databases, VMware virtualization and public cloud management, or ITSM and monitoring tools.
