Our client, a major insurance player in Singapore, is seeking an experienced life underwriter to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all facets of the underwriting process, including risk selection and classification in alignment with company standards.
- Select and classify risk according to company philosophy and standards.
- Provide underwriting advice & support for financial planners
- Foster communication and collaboration with colleagues in the field and at head office to ensure top-notch service levels for customers.
- Consistently generate competitive offers while upholding underwriting policies and mortality standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in underwriting Life, medical risks
- Good team player with strong analytical skills & ability to work under pressure
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of integrity, take accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
