Presently, they seek an adept Regional Procurement Manager (Indirect Services) to be based in their APAC Corporate office in central town of Singapore.
Job Description
You’ll collaborate closely with the Distribution/Warehousing, Logistics/Transportation, Manufacturing operations, and engineering teams. It is essential for them to interact with operational staff, grasp their requirements and functional goals. A beneficial addition would be knowledge of distribution and manufacturing equipment, as well as expertise in the air, ground, and sea shipping industry.
Additional Responsibilities:-
- You will take charge of overseeing the supply chain category Indirect Procurement activities throughout the region.
- Engaging in regional initiatives covering multiple markets.
- Supporting local market activities specific to affiliates or facilities.
- To lead global initiatives related to vendor management, selection, or solution implementation.
- Collaborating closely with local Indirect Procurement and supply chain teams to lead, manage, or assist efforts in specific supply chain sub-categories.
- Identifying regional perspectives and strategies for both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce, inbound and outbound processes.
- Defining and executing sourcing and operational strategies for relevant categories to enhance the Company’s vendor solutions in diverse supply chain activities.
- Cooperating with other regional and global category teams to complement, synchronize, and enhance efforts across supply chain areas.
- Strong Stakeholder Management in a Matrix working environment.
The Successful Applicant
You must have a Degree in Business/ Engineering or Supply Chain with significant years of experience in strategic sourcing on a Regional merit within the FMCG/Consumer Products would be highly preferred. You’ll need to have the ability to articulate and communicate effectively towards C-suite executives on a Global scale.
