About the Role:
Promote, develop and secure sales of new machines in SEA market. Responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and market share in the SEA region.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the SEA region, aligning with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Identify key market segments, target customers, and distribution channels within the region.
- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team, including hiring, training, and setting performance targets.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales goals and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular coaching and feedback to improve sales skills and techniques.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery and fulfillment.
- Foster long-term relationships with customers to drive sales and business performance
Key Requirements:
- Degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or of other technical/commercial degree, MBA is preferred additional skill
- 15 years of experience in direct sales sector, with at least 5 years in a management role
- 5 years of new machine sales experience in Packaging Machines industry or special machines industry.
- Proven track record of successful direct sales in the SEA region.
- Strong knowledge of the machinery market in SEA, including industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and lead a high-performing sales team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the SEA region (60%)
