Senior Associate/Assistant Manager (Tax)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a leading provider of professional corporate solutions with a strong presence across Southeast Asia and they are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Associate/Assistant Manager (Tax) to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or review tax computations for individuals, sole proprietorships, partnerships, corporations, and withholding tax.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations and meet relevant tax filing obligations and deadlines.
• Address client and tax authority (IRAS) queries professionally and efficiently.
• Support tax advisory projects, delivering high-quality service and insights.
• Identify opportunities to promote additional tax service offerings to clients.
• Assist in mentoring and guiding junior staff or interns, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Enhance processes and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and internal departments.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on emerging tax laws and trends.
• Undertake additional ad-hoc duties or projects as assigned.

Key Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy and/or accredited professional qualifications.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in Singapore tax, with knowledge of GST being an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with clients and team members.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
