Our Client is one the Top Fortune 500 companies Globally within the Pharmaceutical Industry. They hold a clear vision focused on blending innovation, expertise, personnel, and products. They are currently in search of a capable Supply Chain Director to be located at their Regional Office in Singapore.
Responsibilities:-
• Take on a global business partnership role with the Performance Material (PM) BU, focusing on Supply Chain Management (SCM). Serve as the primary liaison for SCM within the BU leadership and become an integral part of the PM BU leadership team.
• Ensure comprehensive understanding, measurement, and communication of KPIs and SLAs for the BU, clients, and customers.
• Collaborate with global/country BU heads and functional leaders to implement the global PM SCM strategy effectively.
• Play a leading role in enhancing excellence in 3PL/4PL operations and commercial strategy, leveraging extensive industry experience and networks.
• Provide strategic leadership in evaluating the current end-to-end supply chain processes of PM, offering recommendations on transformation strategy, roadmap, and overseeing its execution and continuous improvement.
• Guide and support SCM development to achieve goals, removing obstacles to progress. Enhance practices, standards, and systems to align with best practices, driving continuous improvement to surpass expectations.
• Undertake budgeting, monitoring, and reporting tasks as necessary.
• Actively engage and collaborate with BU teams to bolster client and customer relations. Support Business Development by designing profitable solutions, assessing deals, onboarding new clients, and managing client relationships.
• Assume value leadership for Key Client SCM-related projects and manage the relationship with the Client’s Supply Chain Lead.
• Support Business Development in SCM aspects, including onboarding and offboarding clients/customers.
• Co-own the CFR performance globally for PM, providing recommendations on transformation strategy, roadmap, and overseeing execution and continuous improvement efforts.
• Take ownership of Inbound/Outbound Forecasting and Planning globally for PM, collaborating with BU teams and Market HSCMs to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead Inventory Planning & Management for PM globally, collaborating with Market HSCMs to ensure optimal inventory control.
• Support BU and Market HSCMs in addressing operational issues when necessary.
The Successful Applicant
You must have a Degree in Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain, or Business Administration from a reputable educational institution. You are required to have a strong experience in a End to End supply Chain experience within the Chemical Industry with strong Project Management and Stakeholder Management expertise.
